Who We Are
Clean Pour Club isn’t just about great drinks—it’s about the stories behind them. Since 2019, we’ve been building a menu of original and classic recipes, each one inspired by someone meaningful to us. From a bold pour named after a fearless friend to a soft floral spritz that honors quiet joy, every cocktail carries a little bit of heart. Our BASSET-certified bartenders bring these stories to life at weddings, private events, and hands-on mixology classes—offering not just service, but an experience that’s personal, polished, and made to connect.
OUR FOUNDER
Willow James is a Chicago-based freelance artist, educator, and community leader. He uses art as a platform for community healing and work that uplifts Black identity–building spaces where art and purpose meet.
Beyond his artistic practices, Willow is deeply engaged in arts leadership and education. He serves as Civic Engagement Director at Definition Theatre (where he is also an ensemble member), is a teaching artist with Court Theatre, and Adjunct Faculty at DePaul University– where he supports the next generation of artists and storytellers.
An award-winning sound designer, his work has been featured at Steppenwolf Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, and others.
